Insurance 101
I am in-network for Anthem/BCBS PPO and EPO plans and out-of-network for UHC and Aetna. If you are using out-of-network insurance, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company.
My self-pay fee for a 45 minute individual session is $200.
Length of Sessions, Scheduling and Cancellation
An initial consultation via phone or video is free.
The intake session is 60 minutes, and all of the subsequent sessions are 45 minutes. It is important for the first year of therapy to meet on a weekly basis. This allows me to develop a deeper understanding of your life and for the two of us to form a trusting relationship.
Sessions must be cancelled a full 24 hours in advance or there will be a charge equivalent to the full session. If I am able to reschedule for later in the week, I will definitely try to do so.
Online Therapy
I use a HIPAA compliant platform called Doxy for online sessions. I will send you a link after we schedule our first appointment.
